The Lake was calm, the sun was shining and bright blue skies were laced with big puffy clouds. Nicole sat quietly and calm as the hair and makeup artists did their thing. After the finishing touches had been applied, the stylist handed her a mirror and with a sudden outburst of excitement she yelled: “I’M GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!!” And ran out of the room to get dressed.
Matt arrived at the lake house with complete composure. Patiently he waited as Nicole made her way out onto the lawn to surprise him for the first time. Upon seeing her face he could not help but glow with excitement.
The two were married on top of the Bristol hills overlooking Canandaigua lake at the breathtaking Bristol Harbour Resort. Being extremely close to her father, Nicole could not think of anyone else she wanted to participate in her day. So the two asked him if he would be the officiant. The Ceremony was full of laughs and beautifully unique stories. Including a very special ring box.
The reception was simple elegance. Beautiful hand lettering, mixed with mercury glass, greenery, and candles. The cake was a stunning cannoli cake. The evening ended with the traditional Labor Day weekend ring of fire lighting up the famous finger lake.
