Both from New York, Collin from Buffalo and Anderson outside of Albany, they met on a college trip to D.C. They quickly connected and started a friendship.
After College they moved back to where it all began. They now live in Northern Virgina where Anderson works for the House. Shortly after starting her new position Collin finagled plans with a new coworker and gained access to the house floor. There he surprised Anderson, got down on one knee an asked her to marry him. She was shocked not only by his proposal, but also by the fact he managed to get permission to come to her work and pull it off.
The two will be married next summer in Upstate NY.
