It was the first real spring day we had in a long time. Most of our spring has been filled with cold dreary days. Not suitable for a celebration of joy. But God smiled on the union of Alyssa & Jamie and blessed them with warmth, sun and gentle breeze.
Their ceremony and reception took place at the stunning Wingate Barn nestled in the farm country of Livonia, NY. The White draped fabric on the wedding arch blew in the breeze as the field swayed back and forth. Tears of sorrow and Joy moved through the guests as the bride was walked down the aisle with her two brothers, while wearing the ashes of her late father in her custom made garter. The mother of the bride looked at the bridesmaids and had said “see, her daddy gets to walk her down the aisle after all.” …CUE THE WATERWORKS!
The beautiful ceremony was filled with a special message from Jamie and Alyssa’s pastor. When it was time for the vows, Jamie could barely speak. Choking back the tears he gazed lovingly at his new bride. Finally the pastor pronounced them Man & Wife and these high school sweethearts sealed the deal with their first kiss.
Jamie and Alyssa I am beyond happy for you two. I love you dearly and can’t wait to watch you grow and flourish in your marriage.
