Nate & Caitlin met in February 2010 when a mutual friend gave them a ride to an Avett Brothers concert in Ithaca. Caitlin saw Nate heading for the front of the stage, so she grabbed his shirt and followed.
A year passed, and Caitlin Facebook messaged him because she couldn’t get past his cuteness. Then in December of 2011, they saw each other again at a Ryan Montbleau show in Rochester. She saw him first and liked his new beard. Next thing you know, He said Hi! Put his arm around her, and they started hanging out after that.
In May 2022, Nate and Caitlin packed their bags and headed to Delfest. It had been five years since they had been able to attend, and they were not about to let another year go by. Day two of the festival brought lots of excitement. Their favorite band was playing, and the two started dancing and singing as loud as they could. In the midst of screaming her lungs out, Caitlin felt a tug on her hand. She looked over and saw Nate down on one knee. He looked at her and said, ” Do you want to do this forever?” Caitlin, of course, said, ” DELYEAH!”
CONGRATULATIONS, you two! I love you both and can not wait to see two of my dearest friends say, “I DO!”
