Tomorrow morning I leave for Port St. Joe Florida where I will be shooting my 2nd destination wedding. I am totally pumped. Packing has been a nightmare, but who really likes to pack anyways. Although I am excited beyond words for this wedding there is another aspect of my trip that I am so touched and honored to be apart of.
Several years ago my Principal from High school and his family moved to Jacksonville Florida where they are now the directors of Seamark Ranch. Seamark Ranch, is a non-denominational, Christ-centered children’s home and school. They are committed to sharing the Gospel, hope, healing, and a brighter future with abused, neglected, abandoned, and homeless children. Ever since I learned of the ranch I have been wanting to go stay and work with the kids. This week I finally have that opportunity. After my wedding this weekend I will be driving to Jacksonville where I will be staying for the remainder of my trip. I am so looking forward to the chance to meet these boys and girls and just love on them. As of right now I’m scheduled to teach two photography sessions to the kids. How exciting!
Below is a video that really touched my heart. Check it out. Check out their website and get involved: http://seamarkranch.com/index.html
